Yummi Candles has a unique product offering with many sizes of products, some with 45+ colour SKUs. The need to redesign arose out of a desire to improve user experience, and reduce returns. The design team was present at every step of the project. We provided competitive analysis, site mapping, information architecture, and user journeys. Wireframes and high-fidelity mockups were created using Adobe XD. Every page and the user funnel was redesigned for the Shopify experience. We collaborated with a Shopify developer team to create a custom website to fit our use. The migration involved organizing and moving all copy and assets. We created a new icon set to better illustrate important information to users. We participated in quality control and testing before launch. Providing visual feedback to the developers to assist the process.

The new site is a living project. Based on user feedback and technology availability it continues to grow. The images above are from the initial design stages and do not reflect the current state of the website. Growth was in mind when we designed. New features and services can be added at any time. The candle-making workshop and gift cards are two examples.
